About Stevenge Plumbing and Decoration

Who we serve

We serve homeowners and households in Stevenage and across the SG postcode area. Our work is for domestic jobs: a leaking tap, a new bathroom basin, a room that needs decorating, or a list of small jobs that have been waiting for months.

What we do

We offer three main types of work. Plumbing covers repairs and installations in bathrooms and kitchens. Painting and decorating covers interior rooms and exterior woodwork. Handyman services cover small jobs that do not fit neatly into either trade.

You can read more on our services page, or go straight to the service you need.

Our approach to a job

We think the best jobs start with a clear conversation. We ask what the problem is, what you want the finished result to look like and how the home is used. Then we explain what is involved, what it will cost to do properly and what we recommend. We would rather you know the options before we start.

We also try to leave homes as we found them, or better. Floors and furniture are protected, and we clean up the area before we leave.

Why customers choose us

• One local contact for plumbing, decorating and small jobs
• Clear explanations of the work before it starts
• Experience with both small repairs and larger domestic projects
• A focus on the homes and towns across the SG postcode area

Our service philosophy

Good work is about doing the job properly, not doing it quickly. We will tell you when a job needs another specialist, such as an electrician, and we will not take on work that we do not feel confident doing. That honesty is part of how we work.

We are based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and we cover all SG postcodes. Our local pages explain what we do in Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Knebworth, Baldock and Old Stevenage.
